Hail Satan, unholy watcher of this world. To honor you is to honor myself, and the satanic power within me. To praise you is to praise myself, and the satanic power within me. I have no faith in you, because I have faith in nothing. I don't believe in you, because I believe in nothing. One either knows, or one does not. Proof manifests or it does not. I seek to know, not to believe. Knowledge is power. Belief is for those who call themselves sheep, for those who consider servility a virtue. I stand before you because I am worthy, never to kneel or beg or grovel. I stand before you, unholy, unabashed and unapologetic. Praise Satan, watcher of this world. Praise Lucifer, bringer of light by which we see that the 'gods' enslave. Praise Satan, who delivers us from the tyranny of the 'gods'. The only sacred is freewill.

I am an atheist. I don't believe in Satan or 'gods' or Santa Claus. To me, Satan is a symbol. It's a symbol of using freewill to free oneself from tyranny of authoritarian thinking. Satan is a symbol of choosing to be free at great potential risk rather than choosing the relatively safer route of servility and consensus thinking, "herd mentality". I'm against all paternalistic church and state because they demand that their adherents remain in a perpetual immature state of dependency. Coerced immaturity can only be countered by insisting that one be treated as an adult, and having ones rights and responsibilities recognized as ones personal property and personal domain, the domain of someone who practices self-sovereignty. "Rights" are not granted, they're merely recognized in applicable context. If a right could be arbitrarily granted, it could just as easily be repealed, which defies the meaning of a right. Rights necessarily follow from the fact that I own my own life, and all corollary rights necessarily logically follow from this fact.
